Heritage antiques are available for your use. Cable TV is provided as well as a VCR/DVD and a wide range of movies for you to borrow during your time spent with us. The room features views from the North, South and East, and you will surely be the first to know when the sun comes up. Both the floors and the ceiling are knotty pine. You have control of the electric heat in both the bathroom and the main room, and also an air conditioner in the summer season. There is a cathedral ceiling and a ceiling fan. The Sunset room has a nautical theme, and boasts two Queen size beds, both with firm mattresses. The floor and the ceiling is knotty pine. The shower and commode are separate from the sink and mirror. The large closet holds spare pillows and blankets awaiting your use. The sun makes it's appearance into the Sunset suite later in the morning than the other side of the house, so sleeping in is a bit more encouraged. Four large windows face West, South and North. Because of its color scheme and its placement in the home, the Sunset suite tends to darken early. Several soft lights give a warm, comfortable, welcoming glow, or might inspire you to get a good nap in the early afternoon in preparation for your evening. There are separate controls for your electric heat in the main room and the bathroom. There is a cathedral ceiling and a ceiling fan for your comfort. A clock radio, an Ironing board, and an Iron are provided in your room. Our coffeepot is usually on by 6:00 am, and you are welcome to read the local paper or periodicals while you enjoy your coffee. The Tea kettle is available too. Our large wrap around deck is perfect in the summer for morning contemplation or prayers, and you will most likely find Ray and Laurie having their first coffee on one of the swings. Join us for boarding house style breakfast from 7:00am until 8:30. Our local butcher provides us with his mouth-watering Canning breakfast sausage and fresh cheese is brought in from across the dykes from the Foxhill Cheese House During the summer, whatever fruit is in season will be featured on the table in some form -- Homemade jams, biscuits, muffins or granola are regular fare. Oatmeal is always available with plenty of "additions" for you to create your own breakfast sensation. We have cats and one dog on the premises, but not in public areas of the home. Please do not bring your pets. For more photos, please click here. Thanks for visiting. We hope to see you soon and say Welcomhome!
