Reminiscent of days spent long ago at Grandma's farm house, Williams' House Bed and Breakfast is filled with old, dear items -- antiques and memorabilia from a wonderful family now grown. Upon arrival, you may well be greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, which are served to all guests along with freshly brewed coffee, tea, and soft drinks. You are sure to feel at home at this Bed and Breakfast, rated Three Stars in the 1999 Mobil Travel Guide. The clean and comfortable rooms, each with private bath and television, are named for the Williams' grown children. Gawgie and Pappy's room is a restful retreat with a queen pillowtop bed and a relaxing sitting area. Rob's room (the upper room) offers a king pillowtop bed with two twin beds and one roll-away bed, suitable for families. This room also provides a VCR, perfect for a family movie. A queen pillowtop bed with a charming hand-tied canopy provides the setting for Connie's room along with exquisite antique furnishings. Adorned with antique furnishings and a pair of "Early Acorn" high twin beds, Bonnie's room highlights a red clawfoot tub with shower bath. Kay's room offers a full-sized antique bed with a hand-tied canopy amongst a lovely collection of timeless furnishings. Upon your rising, hot, freshly ground coffee is served upstairs to welcome the morning. You may then look forward to Barbara's breakfast, each one an edible adventure! This enticing family-style spread features several of the family's favorite choices. Crisp bacon, spicy sausages, and ham with red-eye gravy complement the homemade grits, Aunt Bonnie's potato delight, and various breakfast casseroles. Matt's delicious apple rings (fried in butter, sugar, and cinnamon) will satisfy your sweet tooth, as will an array of homemade sweet breads and rolls. Of course, breakfast would not be complete without Bob's favorite -- fluffy hot biscuits with local sorghum or honey-butter, the finishing touch to a full country breakfast. Barbara Williams and her family look forward to serving you and making you as feel as comfortable as can be in the Williams' House, their own country home.
