The Victorian Peacock Bed & Breakfast is a classic Victorian style estate which tastefully combines the splendor of the Victorian era with the amenities of today. Within the heart of Bucks County, just 12 miles north of historic New Hope, we are situated in a tranquil country setting on 5 park-like acres. The large wrap-around veranda offers enchanting views of farmland and an historic country church.
The Victorian Peacock's three stories of expertly crafted period details, tall windows, ornate woodworking, and oak floors reflect the warmth and atmosphere of a more genteel time. Whether enjoying refreshments on the veranda, warming yourself by the glowing antique marble and oak fireplace, enjoying a game of billiards, or relaxing in the heated pool and spa, our guests find their stay at The Victorian Peacock a memorable one.
Guest rooms are lavishly decorated with antique furnishings, oversized queen and king sized beds, fine linens, and plush comforters. The Inn has central air conditioning and most rooms have ceiling fans. Each room is uniquely decorated including a king sized bedroom decorated in a very ornate French Provincal Louis XVI style with a wrought iron seating arrangement, refrigerator and private entrance; a large Queen sized bedroom decorated in ornate furniture from the early 1900's with a claw-foot tub and shower combination and Victorian couch seating arrangement; a queen sized bedroom decorated in French Antiques with an ornate 100 year old burilled walnut bed frame imported from France and with a lacey Victorian motif; and two Queen sized bedrooms decorated in antiques from the early 1900's, one with a partial canopy decorated in a rich maroon and pink and lace rose motif and one decorated in a rich burgundy and mauve and lace Victorian motif.
