Now taking reservations for opening November 1, 2006. Everything's coming up roses at Three Roses Bed & Breakfast, Circa 1890, in Pontiac, IL, We are right off interstate 55 near Old Route 66 (less than one mile away) and on Route 116. Pontiac is a great little town with a population of around 11,500. There is much to see and do in Pontiac. Check our upcoming events page to see what might be going on in and around the Pontiac area during your scheduled visit. We also have links to other nearby communities to see what is going on in those communities. We are 35 miles from Bloomington/Normal, 100 miles from Springfield, 100 miles from Chicago, 200 miles from St. Louis, 150 miles from the Quad Cities, and 195 miles from Indianapolis. If you live in the Chicago area (or anywhere along Amtrak's route), you can take the morning train to Pontiac. You can leave all the stress of the big city behind. Call us when you arrive and we will pick you up at the train station. Put your bags in your room, then spend the afternoon shopping our quaint shops in our downtown area. You can visit the Route 66 Hall of Fame & Museum and the Livingston County War Museum and Education Center. There is no charge for these wonderfully entertaining and fascinating museums. (Donations are accepted.) Dine in one of Pontiac's restaurants or come back to the Bed & Breakfast for a quiet, romantic candlelit dinner. Three Roses will have 4 guest rooms when completed. On opening day, we will only have two rooms completed. The "Garden Room" and "Jennifer's Room". We are only accepting one couple at a time until we are able to put in another bathroom. If you are with a group or family and don't mind sharing a bath, we can accommodate you in the two rooms we have available (4 persons maximum). We will update our site as soon as our other rooms become available. Please note that Three Roses Bed and Breakfast is not currently handicapped accessible. A full breakfast is served daily on elegant china in the dining room, along with linen napkins, gold flatware, candlelight and sparkling crystal. Guests choose their breakfast the night before from an extensive menu. Guests also choose the time they wish to have breakfast, anywhere from 6am to 11am. Check in time is between 5pm and 9pm. Check out time is by 12 noon. Reservations are required. While Pontiac has some nice restaurants at much more affordable prices than we can offer, we understand that folks are often tired upon arrival and are not always up to going out for dinner and prefer to dine here. Guests may have dinner at Three Roses Bed & Breakfast with advance notice. Advanced menu selection and reservations are a must. We can accommodate groups of up to 20 for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in an elegant setting with advance reservations and menu selection. Meals start at $15 per person. There is also a $75 room charge for groups having dinner but not staying the night. Check our guest comments from Sharon's previous B&B experience. Three Roses Bed & Breakfast is a non-smoking facility. Guests are welcome to smoke on the outside patio provided that they properly dispose of cigarette butts in receptacles provided.
