The Seasons Bed & Breakfast is located in the completely remodeled Ollis-Plumado House in historic Placerville, California in the heart of California's Gold Country in El Dorado County. If you are looking for a place for a vintage wedding or anniversary celebration please consider us for our Victorian and historic Bed & Breakfast appeal.
The house was built in 1859 and is one of the city's oldest. Situated on a beautifully landscaped 3/4 acre lot just one block from Placerville, California's Main Street, the house is built of brick and placerite stone and was once the site of a gold stamp mill during the Gold Rush. It was home to the Plumado family for 75 years.
The Seasons is named for a series of paintings by artist and former owner Ann Gladwill, which depict life in El Dorado County California at different times of the year.
A wrap-around veranda with distinct sitting areas encircles the main floor of the house. This floor contains the parlour, where guests may sit in front of the fireplace built of hand-picked stones or, during warmer weather, enjoy refreshments and games on the veranda.
