Bennett who, at the time, was the Speaker of the House of Assembly in St. John's. The house was built on ocean waterfront property and is surrounded by one acre of beautiful gardens and large old trees including a magnificent 200-year-old cherry tree. There's plenty of room to walk, talk, relax, and enjoy the ocean view.
Your Hosts ”“ Lucy and Kevin Haire Kevin was born in Harbour Grace and moved away in 1959. Fourty-two years later Kevin returned to Newfoundland with his wife Lucy of Toronto.
Kevin and Lucy purchased this historical home, renovated it and turned it into a 4-star B & B. They named the B & B in honor of Kevin's mother Rose.
Lucy, who is fluent in Italian, enjoys cooking and baking for the guests of Rose Manor. She has an extensive background in interior design and takes great pride in making her home a beautiful place for her guests to relax and retreat. In addition she is warm and welcoming and truly loves to host and entertain.
