The Guest House is an Old Barn nestled among beautiful trees in the quiet and peaceful town of Hancock. It was built by Richard Babcock, nationally known as master builder and barn historian. Our home was the former Holiday Lodge during the sixties where New Yorkers stayed when they came to ski at Jiminy Peak. It has been restored to ensure a relaxing stay for all our guests. The Guest House is unique. The bedrooms are located in the hay loft. The walls show the posts and beams and the great room is three stories high. It is a place to meditate and come in contact with nature. You can play tennis on our own clay country tennis court. During summer you may enjoy coffee by the pond. In winter time, breakfast will be served in our cozy dining room, warmed by a massive stone fireplace. Liz is a wonderful hostess and everybody praises her hospitality. We look forward to your stay with us at The Guest House, where Our Home is Your Home.
