Close to Old Sturbridge Village lies a mid-nineteenth century country inn offering the most gracious surroundings. This grand structure is known as the Sturbridge Country Inn. Its white Greek Revival exterior looks out on busy Main Street. The inn's staff takes pride in providing luxurious accommodations and the most modern amenities amid all the charm and elegance of the past.
The Sturbridge country Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in the 1840's. Since then, it has been transformed into a welcoming
retreat with spacious, comfortable rooms, restaurant and heated pool. Each room is inviting, and features colonial-style furniture, queen-size beds, fireplaces, and whirlpool baths. Our Corner Rooms boast exposed beams, sitting area and vaulted ceiling and on the third floor is a Loft King Suite- two large, luxurious rooms, bedroom and sitting room, with vaulted ceilings, skylights, wet bar, and our largest whirlpool bath. Our recently restored Barn holds another corner room, new mini-suites and and a second king loft suite, all in colonial charm.
