The Generals' Quarters is a large, beautifully appointed suite that includes a private sitting room and bathroom. The bedroom features an original fireplace and a stately hand-carved mahogany four-poster bed. The sitting room and bath, both formerly part of an outdoor garden, contain original stone columns and half stone walls. The sitting room includes a table and chairs, sofa and armoire. Historical pictures grace the walls of the suite, honoring our country's military history and the mansion's Civil War history. The suite is equipped with a refrigerator and TV/VCR with full cable. A nice selection of movies is available in our video library. Also available is an exercise room equipped with a treadmill and stationary bicycle.
