This charming bed & breakfast is located just minutes from the historic waterfront district of the Town of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, It is the site of the Empire Loyalist landing in Canada and home to a generous selection of historic, wooden-frame buildings and period architecture. We have three, nicely-appointed, airy, second-floor rooms with a shared bath, plus common room and dining room. A full breakfast is served in the morning from 7:30 to 9:30. There is a shelter for bicycles. The area offers a lake with public beach and park, kayaking, museums, gift shops, a golf course, an art gallery, a variety of restaurants, and numerous hiking trails. Great birding abounds in the area. The new performing arts centre has dozens of live productions each year and the adjacent Yacht Club and Marina offer a calm, harbourside setting. It is a great area to rest, relax and escape from busy city life.
