Located in the charming Town of Rothesay, New Brunswick, this nine room, two suite inn offers the hospitality and ambiance reminiscent of a by-gone era. The Inn has a dining room that can accommodate 50 people, a small intimate dining room for 2 to 20 people, and a newer glassed-in addition overlooking the side patio garden for meetings or dining with seating for 40 people. Many guests enjoy relaxing in the mahogany paneled lounge while sipping on one of the best martiniis in southern New Brunswick. During the summer season our canopied deck, patio and manicured gardens are used continually for weddings, anniversaries and business receptions. The winter may close the canopy and patios but the fun switches to a Yule tide surroundings indoors.
The Inn was built in 1870 by James F. Robertson for the token sum of twenty thousand dollars. Originally named 'Karsalie', the home has operated as an inn for the past fifty-plus years. During the past fifteen years the Inn has been under the direction of Patrick and Margaret Gallagher. The Inn offers full services with a staff of twenty.
