Riverdale Motel is located in Portland, Connecticut, on Route 66, approximately 4 miles east of Middletown and 15 miles south of Hartford.
It is a friendly, clean, family run 47-room motel, with spacious rooms. Non-smoking and smoking rooms are available. All rooms have refrigerators, telephones, room thermostats, air-conditioning and cable TV. Four rooms have fully equipped kitchens. Two rooms are handicapped accessible with roll-in showers.
Every morning complimentary coffee and pastry is served in the lobby. We have large well lighted parking areas. All rooms have a ground level entrance so you never have to carry your luggage upstairs.

Wesleyan University in Middletown is very near for visiting parents and family. For the shoppers there are antique shops, as well as historic Goodspeed Opera House, Gillette's Castle, Riverboat and Train Rides, Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe Houses, and the Hartford Civic Center are just a few of the local sites. Less than a hour's drive away you can find Foxwood and Mohegan Sun Casinos.
