The house was built in 1910 by the Murphy family. Three of the six Murphy children lived here for 60 years, lovingly caring for their home. Each of the two other families who lived here loved it just as much. There are two porches, two sitting rooms with fire places and beamed ceilings and two oak staircase. Leaded windows, original bathroom with footed tub (there are actually two of those also, but one is for me on the third floor), unpainted oak woodwork galore and a stained glass window.
