Prospect Hill Bed & Breakfast Inn offers you a fresh mountain vacation in an 1889 Victorian country mansion. We are located near Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA, in Mountain City, TN. Our large, very private guest rooms were designed for your comfort and feature king or queen beds, soft robes, and scented candles. Each room is unique, some with a private balcony, private entrance, stained glass windows, tall ceilings and mountain ridge views from every window. Most have fireplaces. Romance rooms feature whirlpool tubs for two. Recent renovations added central heat, air conditioning with personal thermostate, free wireless, cable TV....we serve a full breakfast at the inn.

We also have A Cottage in the Woods which is a three bedroom/2 bath cottage on 30 acres which is perfect for families with kids and dogs welcome. It sleeps up to 7. Fully furnished and equiped--just bring your food. Two day minimum. Wireless NOT available at this location; you may come to the inn for it. Priced from $125/night.

We have what you need for a perfect vacation which isn't very far--but seems so wonderfully out of town and out of the way.

This is an historically significant 1889 country mansion, designed by a Chattanooga architect for a Union Army/Civil War veteran who also served in the state legislature. We bought the house from a man who grandfather was A.P.Carter and who helped complete country singer Kenny Chesney's first recorded CD/album.
