Lucy and Roger Parent welcome you to their home, The Parent Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. Their 1800's brick farmhouse is located on a dirt road in Northern Vermont's rich dairy and maple syrup region. From here, you are only minutes away from beautiful Lake Champlain and Vermont's Green Mountains.
The house is the focal point of this Vermont dairy farm. The home is furnished with unique antiques and extraordinary wood floors. Although you won't see the milk truck pulling up anymore, there is a good chance you'll find some cows here. If you wake up early enough, you can experience the summer harvest or the feeding of the cows with Roger. Around the house, you can spend time with Lucy quilting or gardening.
Accommodations are centered around the relaxed, family farm atmosphere. Choose from three rooms, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, and one with a single bed. Guests who absolutely must conduct business will appreciate the office equipment available, including a copy machine and a fax machine. There is a sunroom off the kitchen for quiet relaxation or reading. Each morning, Lucy will prepare a warm Vermont breakfast made with local fruits and maple syrup. You're guaranteed not to go away hungry!
