The Bross Hotel Bed and Breakfast's accommodations are the perfect setting for intimate weddings, memorable honeymoons, festive parties, other special events, business conferences, workshops or seminars/retreats. When Deputy Sheriff W. T. Bross opened the hotel in 1906, it was considered "the only really first-class hotel in the county" by local authorities. Just one block from Paonia's main street, the hotel flourished for nearly 70 years. In 1994, a group of imaginative artisans, skilled carpenters and other craftspeople was assembled to renovate this historic site. By restoring the wood floors and trim, exposing brick interiors and adding sunny dormer windows, this legendary structure was revitalized. It has the charm of an old hotel and the amenities of a modern bed and breakfast inn. It is once again Delta County's premier hotel.
