Port Townsend, Washington

Experience the gracious hospitality of the Victorian past in this beautifully restored Queen Anne masterpiece. This award winning Painted Lady is one of the most photographed and artistically depicted Victorian mansions in the Pacific Northwest. She sits high on the bluff commanding spectacular views of Puget Sound, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains. Built in 1889 by Senator F.W. Hastings, son of Port Townsend's founding father Loren B. Hastings, the mansion served as the residence and office of the German Consul from 1908 to 1911. Today she carries the designation of National Historic Landmark and State Landmark, and is listed on the Official Register of National Historic Places. Your hosts, Michael and Sue DeLong, have furnished the inn with an incredible collection of period antiques, including many pieces which were original to the mansion. The F.W. Hastings House-Old Consulate Inn is an elegantly restored Victorian landmark, yet the ambiance is comfortable and informal. "Visit Port Townsend and the Old Consulate Inn for a trip back in time with all the comforts and luxuries of today. Come join us!"
