Welcome to Land of the Midnight Sun and our bed and breakfast. Jay and Kathy Carlisle invite you to view the beauty of Kenai Peninsula from their back yard, on the beach at Cape Kasilof. See beautiful views of Mount Redoubt, Mount Spur and other semi-active volcanoes from our deck. Watch midnight sunsets from the bluff of Cook Inlet. Soak in the beauty of Alaska right here on the Kenai Peninsula and welcome to the Last Frontier!
The Kasilof River, which drains Tustumena Lake, is one of the largest lakes (28 miles long) on the Kenai Peninsula. Beach access to the Kasilof small-boat harbor and Kasilof River make this quiet community a favorite for visitors and Alaskans. Fish for salmon or halibut, beach comb, dig for clams, hike and you may even see a dog sled team summer training.
Ocean Bluff Bed and Breakfast is centrally located with the Kasilof River take-out point just five minutes away; the launch site about 10 minutes further. You'll be about 30 minutes to both the Deep Creek halibut fishing launch site and meeting points for the Kenai River salmon trips. Ocean Bluff Bed and Breakfast is located about 20 minutes south of Soldotna on a high bluff overlooking Cook Inlet. We're ideal for small to medium-sized groups and couples!
Start your day with a hearty Alaskan breakfast, fishing, beachcombing and the beauty of Alaska!
