La Maison des Papillons Bed and Breakfast occupies a house built in 1899 on the Historic 8th Street South of Fargo. It is listed on the National Historic Registry. La Maison des Papillons has four guest rooms on the second floor. Each room is named after a butterfly that is native to North Dakota. The Monarch is a double room with a half bath located on the north side of the house for lots of quiet. The Swallowtail is a double room with a beatuiful stained glass window and bay window. The Fritillery is a single room overlooking the front yard and nearby park. The Admiral is a double room with two standard beds and adjoins the Fritillery. This is ideal for families or small groups. All rooms share a large old fashioned bathroom occupied by a cast iron tub/shower with clawed feet. Each room is equipped with a jack for computer accessibility.
