The wrap-around porch, secluded but open, is also a comfortable venue for a delectable morning repast, including fresh eggs in rainbow colors produced by Morgan Hill Hens. After breakfast you are welcome to read a book under an ancient cedar, write a poem in the hayloft, wander the Christmas tree farm, revisit watercolors in the garden, or curl up, gaze at the mountains and contemplate life.

Massage... Morgan Hill Retreat massage table can be set up in your room, on the porch by the pond, or maybe in the "grass house" in the garden. Please make advance arrangements for the massage therapist. Fine Art Photography... The walls of Morgan Hill Retreat feature photography by innkeeper, Marcia Breece, and illustrate her international travels. Images are available for purchase; please inquire during your stay. You may see several of Marcia's photos by visiting her online photo gallery. Bird Watching... Washington Birding expert, Marv Breece, is available to guide a birding tour you will never forget. Bird species are abundant here and Marv has an uncanny ability to expose the ones others miss. He frequently leads birding field trips for Seattle Audubon and Washington Ornithological Society. In addition to the birds, he keeps an eye out for other wildlife and often spots whales, otters, sea lions, fox, coyote, etc. Marv is also an expert at digi-scoping, using his high powered birding scope in conjunction with his digital SLR, a Canon Rebel. His images are stunning, and available for purchase. Please make prior arrangements to assure Marv's availability. You are welcome to try your luck at fly fishing in the trout pond and if you're interested, we can arrange for a fly fishing lesson from a local expert. The surrounding gardens supply fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruit for the restaurant and flowers for salads and arrangements. The large terrace is the perfect place for a late afternoon glass of wine or beer. The chef conjures daily specials from his tiny kitchen and utilizes the local abundance of fresh organic produce.
