Accommodations at the Miramichi Inn include rooms in the main lodge and a private cabin which sleeps six anglers/hunters. Groups of up to 12 are accepted, which ensures individual attention for all guests. Salmon fishing and hunting on the Little "Sou-west" may be an "in-the-woods" experience but the hospitality and cuisine are definitely not! Daily maid service and the quality and variety of the menu are carefully attended to. Seafood, including lobster, cod, scallops, haddock and salmon are expected in New Brunswick and are beautifully presented. So are beef, pork and poultry entrées. All pastries and breads are baked in the well appointed kitchen. Says food writer, Sylvia Bashline, "The Miramichi Inn is a 'five pound' camp and even if I did not like salmon fishing I'd go for the desserts." The layout of the Miramichi has been designed with guest comfort and convenience in mind. From the well located and comfortably furnished rooms, the main lodge sitting room complete with full log fireplace, the convenient "wet room" where guests returning from fishing or hunting can comfortably change out of wet gear (there is even a full sized pool table in the wet room) and a conveniently placed gun room, to the immaculate dining area and small office which exists for those who "insist" on staying in contact with the office back home! All that you might require or wish for is here!
