The Marshlands Inn is a New Brunswick Country Inn and one of Canada's best known country inns. This pre-confederation home, operating as an inn for over 60 years, has been the stopping place for many of Canada's notables and visiting celebrities. Even the Queen of England has stayed at Marshlands. The New Brunswick Bed and Breakfast Inn is comprised of the main house and a Carriage House. All rooms are furnished with antiques (even claw-footed bath tubs in the Inn). Marshlands has an 80 seat licensed restaurant with upscale fine dining. It has been cited by Anne Hardy, in "Where to Eat in Canada" for over 25 consecutive years. Breakfast, lunch and dinners are available to house guests as well as the public. The Inn is famous for dishes like crabcakes, seafood casserole and a dessert known as "Fundy Fog". The Inn boasts large parlours with fireplaces and easy chairs for late evening conversation; 8 acres of marshlands, gardens and lawns; two large verandas for sitting; and on-site store, Blue Willow Antiques, specializing in Canadian glass. When you visit Maritime Canada, you owe yourself a visit to Marshlands.

All of our rooms have telephones and en-suite three or four piece bathrooms. We have twin-bedded rooms (twin single beds) and double beds (one double bed). Rooms in the Carriage House have color cable TV and modern bathrooms. All rooms are furnished with antiques. The Queen's room, a large suite with an adjoining single room, has a very old four-poster bed. The room is large and has windows with views in three directions. Rooms on the second floor of the Inn tend to be larger and have 12' ceilings. Rooms on the third floor are somewhat smaller and are tucked cosily under the eaves. The Inn has operated year-round since 1990. Reservations in the summer months are advisable ”” call for a booking one to two months in advance. The Inn has non-smoking rooms. Small pets are permitted with approval in the Carriage House. Most of our accommodations suit couples but several rooms can accommodate portable cots. We have a play-pen style crib for our smallest guests
