Located in the scenic parkland region of Saskatchewan, on the banks of the Englishman River, 4 1/2 miles northeast of St. Walburg, Marie's Country Getaway Guest House is a beautifully restored early homestead log house. The house is for the exclusive use of guests only. You can enjoy the beauty, peace and quiet of the country from the privacy of the guest house. You can "Light Housekeep" or have your meals prepared for you by your host.
The Guest house is fully accredited by the Saskatchewan Country Vacation Association and has been awarded a 4 egg cup rating (highest rating given).
Your host at the Country Getaway is Marie T. Stolniuk. Marie is a teacher by profession and lives with her husband Peter (a lawyer and a farmer) and their five children on their farm across the road from the Guest House. Marie is a gourmet quality cook and is fluent in French and will help you choose the package that is best for you, and, if you wish, arrange to have your meals prepared for you.
