Madrid Casita is a private guesthouse surrounded by the Ortiz Mountains in the historic coal mining town of Madrid, New Mexico on the Turquoise Trail.
The casita was built upon the site of the historic "Winch House," which was a integral part of the original Madrid mining operation. This private casita provides vacation lodging for a natural New Mexico retreat.
The Madrid Casita is tastefully decorated to fit New Mexico's style. Suited to accommodate couples or small groups, the casita offers a single bedroom with a queen size bed and bath, as well as a full size futon. The casita's full kitchen includes a coffee maker, toaster oven, stove, and refrigerator/freezer, as well as plenty of cabinet space for storage. The entire guesthouse is air conditioned to keep you comfortable throughout the year.
