The Inn is a restored 1870s farmhouse. It has spacious guestrooms, high ceilings, large windows and original pine wood floors. Guests relax in an alcove of the gathering room, an old-fashioned parlor, or the front porch swing.
Breakfasts are served at individual tables in a sunny dining room. Early risers will find plenty of freshly ground coffee or tea available before breakfast. Fresh fruit, biscuits, bacon and eggs, or blueberry waffles are typical breakfast specials.
Guests are encouraged to explore the Inn’s ten-acre grounds. You can hike to the pond behind the barn, visit our flower and vegetable gardens, feel the velvet soft muzzles of our miniature donkeys, or watch our frisky sheep. If you don’t feel like exploring, you can simply relax with a glass of wine and a good book in our screened "summerhouse." From the summerhouse you can hear the gurgle of a year-round stream that flows nearby and feel the cool breeze that falls from the hills above.
Ann Morgan and Margo Pfleger operate the Inn. They are transplants from Washington who understand guests’ need to get away from the pressures of jobs and busy lives. They will welcome you warmly but will respect your need for independence and privacy.
