Open from May through October, our established motel is a brief 10 minute drive from the town of Bridgewater, the hub of the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Here on the banks of the beautiful LaHave River, visitors can relax and absorb all the splendor, solitude and excitement the region has to offer.
Our Accommodation
There are 14 rooms at the Lighthouse Motel, each includes a TV, clock radio, four piece bath, towels, linens and other basics; public phone on site. Included among your accommodation options are three waterfront rentals (separate from the motel complex) which hug the banks of the LaHave River, near Bridgewater, in South West Nova Scotia. These single rooms or suites, with kitchenettes and queen-size beds, are among the most popular at our motel facility. Guests can enjoy breakfast or an intimate dinner while watching bald eagles soar along the river bank.
The remaining double rooms contain two double beds; several include air conditioning units and kitchenettes, with all the amenities needed for affordable vacation planning. Of course, all guests of the Lighthouse Motel have access to our picnic tables and well-groomed waterfront area, floating docks, private beach and children’s playground.
