Julie's Country Manor is located in close proximity to the Glacier Park International Airport, with jets arriving over 10 times daily from Northwest, Delta, Horizon/Alaska and America West Airlines. Plan on about a 20 minute, scenery filled drive to the Manor.
Julie's Country Manor is newly built in 2003, having it's Grand Opening in June, 2004.
Beautifully appointed with hardwoods and soft beige walls for a light and airy feel. A cat-walk runs the entire upstairs and looks down into the Dining and Kitchen areas. The surrounding grounds are "nestled" in the trees and sit well off the country road. In the evenings, deer come to graze and the setting is pure country charm and tranquility.
Our rooms are non-smoking and well appointed with country quilts and soft blankets, some handmade furniture and luxurious private baths with jetted tubs and double pedestal sinks, a color TV/DVD along with a wireless access high speed, DSL connection for laptops. Look for our "Manor Suite" to be opening soon! A beautiful, all inclusive suite with private jetted tub for two!
Julie's owners are Dick and Julie Hirschi. Julie is your hostess and chef, and is known for her specialties of "stuffed French toast" and a variety of extra special Quiches! Add gourmet teas and coffee and you are in for a scrumptious breakfast!
Julie's Country Manor has a great location just a few miles to our quaint town of Whitefish, where it is enjoyable to walk and take in the charming shops, restaurants and nightspots.
Also in close proximity is the world renowned Glacier National Park dubbed the "Crown of the Continent". It's many areas are breathtakingly beautiful and are enjoyed by travelers from all over the world.
Winter brings skiing at the famous Big Mountain Ski Resort, one of the largest in North America. Both downhill and cross-country skiing are offered, as well as "snow boarding". The cross-country skiing is on well groomed trails that meander into the back country just waiting for you to explore!
Big Mountain is known for the deep, powdery snow, short lift lines and very EXPANSIVE views, you won't want to miss a "once in a lifetime" adventure to The Big Mountain in Whitefish!
