The Senator Rickert Residence Bed and Breakfast was remodeled from a German Street House into a French Mansard cottage style in 1897. The prominent tower and widow's walk are unique features that capture every ones attention. We are located in downtown Waterloo near the Courthouse Square and a short drive from downtown St. Louis. Currently we only offer one suite. The suite, however, consists of a spacious bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, and adjoining sitting room separated by large pocket doors. The oversized bathroom is graced by a footed tub with an oak rail around the top. The suite is decorated in Victorian colors and is furnished with antiques from Mrs. Rickert's family. The suite opens to a balcony porch for your enjoyment of the fresh air. Waterloo is between Ft. de Chartres and the Cahokia Courthouse. A great combination trip would be a stay in Ste. Genevieve, MO and a stay at the Senator Rickert Residence Bed and Breakfast.
