Guest rooms in the Inn are large and spacious offering antique furnishings, air conditioning, telephone/data port, fresh flowers, and award-winning handmade Burdick Chocolates at bedside. Plenty of common areas are available in the house for guests to socialize or relax in including a plant-filled sunroom with views overlooking the farm and gardens, a library with working fireplace and stocked with numerous books on local and regional history, a comfortable living room with views of the terraced gardens, a formal dining room with raised hearth, and a game room with all the perennial favorites.
Breakfast is a multi-course homemade affair, which always includes fruit, breads, and entrees made with fresh eggs and organic produce raised right here at the farm. The inn's breakfast menu always centers around what's fresh and local so it changes regularly with the amazing bounty that's on or around our farm. Some of our guests' favorites include strawberry/rhubarb compote with fresh orange and local cream, baked apples with homemade granola and fresh chocolate mint, crème Brule French toast, chocolate amaretto pound cake, decadent popovers with homemade jams, and Swiss chard and leek frittata to name a few. A gourmet brown bag can also be assembled for early departures or the hiker or businessperson on the go. Guests' dietary restrictions are happily honored with advance notice.
And for those with a sweet tooth, the cookie jar is always full of homemade confections like Valley Farms' Very Best Chocolate Chip cookies, Butter Pecan Toffee cookies or Dark Chocolate Shortbread. A butler's pantry available 24/7 with a guest refrigerator, hot water and coffee maker, sink, wine glasses, wine opener, silverware, etc. helps add to the enjoyment of your stay with us.
All guest rooms in the Inn are on the second floor and suitable for guests over the age of twelve.

Contra Dances - Every 3rd Saturday, 7:30 - 11:00 pm at the Walpole Unitarian Church. All dances will be taught. All are welcome! Beginner's class at 7:00 pm. Please help protect the dance floor and bring clean shoes. Thank you. Admission is $7/$5 (students, seniors, limited income, first time dancers).Bellows Falls Farmers Market: Fridays, 3:30-6:30pm from June through mid-October: See the best the region has to offer. Locally raised produce, herbs, lamb, poultry, beef, and pork, honey, fresh flowers, crafts, artisan breads and cheeses, prepared foods, and best of all (in my humble opinion)...stress-relieving chair massage! Sunday Concerts on the Walpole Common: Bring your blanket or lawn chair and relax on Walpole's picturesque common listening to some of the regions great town band talents. Slices of your favorite homemade pies available for sale made by the members of the Walpole Congregational Church. Sundays during July and August 7:00-8:30 Free.
Keene's Annual Pumpkin Festival (www.pumpkinfestival.org) - Saturday, October 22nd, 2005: Help Keene break it's own Guinness Book of World Records for the most jack-o-lanterns (28,952) in any one place at a time. This is one festival not to be missed! A full day of events including trick-or-treating, a children's costume parade, activities for all ages, craft show, music, fireworks, and of course... registering your pumpkins in the log of the Guinness Book of World Records! Guests of ours get preferential parking.
