Rutland, Vermont

The Inn at Rutland is a stately Victorian Mansion built by William F. Burditt for his family in 1889 and located within a few miles of Killington, Vermont. This Vermont Inn, voted Best Bed & Breakfast in the Greater Rutland area in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004,2005, 2006 and again in 2007 is a perfect place to stay for people skiing at Killington, hiking the Green Mountains of Vermont or enjoying the Fall Foliage. Fronted by a large wraparound porch, the Inn affords breathtaking views of the Green Mountains. Relax on the porch glider or in one of the comfortable rockers and enjoy the gorgeous vistas, a casual conversation or a good book. Once inside the Inn, you will feel as though you were back in the 1800s. The grand oak staircase, carved plaster relief ceilings and wainscoting, huge leaded glass windows and fine period antiques all take you back in time to an era of romantic splendor.
