The Carys welcome you to Hunter Peak Ranch, a collection of self-contained cabins and suites offering a wonderful mountain experience.
Located on the Upper Clarks Fork River at an elevation of 6,700 feet, the 120-acre, privately owned ranch lies within the Shoshone National Forest. The property, homesteaded in 1907, began taking guests in 1912. The original hand-hewn lodge is the central gathering area and dining room.
Three cabins and six suites, each with bath and eight with equipped kitchens, are distinctively furnished and provide bed and bath linens. The cabins are wood-heated, and the suites are heated by steam.
Coming to meals in the dining room affords guests the opportunity to get to know their hosts, learn about the area, and listen to great stories. With visitors from all over, conversations are exciting, expansive, and entertaining.
