Beechwood gets its name from the two magnificent beech trees that shade the inn. A delightful veranda wraps around three sides of the house. Rockers, gliders and wicker furniture overlook acres of quiet lawns, gardens and woods. In summer, afternoon iced tea and lemonade are served on the porch. In cooler seasons, hot teas, coffees and sweets are served in front of the parlor fireplace.
The natural wood paneled dining room has an original pressed-tin ceiling. A three course gourmet breakfast is served at individual tables graced with lace tablecloths. A beautiful Eastlake mantled fireplace completes the Victorian scene. Raspberry bread, baked pears and apple harvest pancakes are some of the dishes that may appear on chef Debra's daily gourmet menu.
