Homeplace is a Vermont Bed and Breakfast, which welcomes you by offering a unique home with more window than wall and is filled with European antiques, Vermont craftwork and charm.
At Homeplace, you have a choice of double or single beds, all with extra pillows and fine linens. Rooms with private baths are available for an additional charge. Cribs are available. We'll serve you a full country breakfast any time between 7:30 and 9:00. It's different every day, but if you stay long enough, you can try all the options: home-made breads and muffins, pancakes from scratch with our own maple syrup, and eggs fresh from the hen with bacon from the farm. There's always local cider, a selection of teas and fresh-ground Vermont-roasted coffee.
Homeplace is surrounded by beautiful perennial gardens and miles of cross-country and hiking trails, on the inside Homeplace offers books for all ages in almost every room-including hundreds of children's books in the back hall-as well as puzzles, chess, mah-jong, and other games in the corner of the living room by the piano. Just about the only thing we don't offer is a place for you to smoke.
Jericho is just about a half an hour from Burlington and less than an hour from Shelburne and Stowe. Ask us about the area's many restaurants; between the mountain and the lake there's something for every taste and budget.
Two friendly dogs and a cat join your hostess, Mariot Huessy, in welcoming you to this quiet place in a hundred-acre wood.
