We are located on the "loop" in the Village of Wilmot NH, celebrating its bicentennial in 2007. The big celebration includes a driving tour all summer of the historically interesting sites, horseshoe and croquet tournaments, a parade, dinners and luncheons in mid August. Take It For Granite Farm has four guest suites, each with private bath and its own special decorative style and amenities. Each suite is also comfortably secluded from the others. Recommendations for local restaurants and activities are provided and the inn offers an assortment of games, videotapes, and recreational equipment.

New London, only ten minutes away, is the home of Colby Sawyer College, The Barn Playhouse, The Fells, Lake Sunapee, and many fine restaurants and shops. Concerts on the town green are scheduled every Friday night in the summer months. Only two hours drive from Boston and one hour drive from the Manchester, NH airport, people have been attracted to this area for generations. Nearby lakes and mountains have called hikers to visit segments of the well-charted Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway, a 70 mile trail that connects these mountain peaks. For water enthusiasts, Lake Sunapee, Pleasant Lake, and Wilmot's own Tannery pond offer boating, fishing or swimming.
