The George Alexander House was built in 1905 by George Alexander, the 10th child of Cyrus Alexander, the 1st Euro-American settler in the North Sonoma County area, (hence Alexander Valley). George, his Nellie and their daughter Lucille lived in the house until 1922. The house is noted for its quatrefoil windows in the front and on the tower and its exuberant ornamental details.
