Welcome to Gad's Hill, a beautiful log chalet an hour and a half North West of Montreal. Gad's Hill was originally a fishing lodge, built in 1930 by one of the original contractors of the Chateau Montabello. It was purchased by our family in 1936 and has been lovingly cared for and built on by each generation ever since. Located near the town of Arundel, we are half an hour away from great shopping in St. Saveur, and 30 minutes from all that Mont Tremblant has to offer. We are a half hour away from the Riviere Rouge, which offers excellent white water rafting, beach volleyball, paintball and horseback riding. We are also 15 minutes away from Cammac, a music centre, which offers concerts during the summer months. Overlooking Beaven Lake, we also offer a relaxing retreat from the hectic life.

We offer 2 guest rooms to choose from. The Cedar View offers a king sized bed and private screened verandah. Lake View offers a queen sized bed with a view of the lake. A full bathroom and a powder room are between the two rooms. Please see our photo gallery for pictures. Breakfast is included. For an additional fee, box lunches can be provided if requested in advance. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions well in advance to your arrival. Leisure activities include: Nature trail for hiking Badminton Croquet Boule Canoes Row boat Paddle boat Swimming Biking We are also located near many golf clubs, bicycle trails, white water rafting and horseback riding, and Mont Tremblant.
