Diver Dan's Bed & Breakfast Hawaii is located in South Kona approximately half way between the airport and Volcano National Park. There are three beaches near by. The first is located directly below the B&BB with great snorkeling and diving. Next is Ho'okena beach, most tourist drive right on by without even noticing the sign .The beach sits in a small bay with powder white sand Excellent snorkeling and plenty of dolphins to watch or play with. Last but not least is my personal favorite. I've lived in Hawaii 21 years and haven't found one to match it. It requires a 15-minute walk on the old kings trail. It has black and white sand beaches, incredible snorkeling, and completely palm fringed. But the spinner dolphins are what really make it. They just love to play. So you can sit and watch them all day long. Odds are you will be the only people on the beach. So enjoy.
