Peace at the end of the road...nestled in the hills on a winding, quiet back lane, Fishers' Loft, a 4½ star inn, overlooks the old fishing and boat-building harbour of Ship Cove, where small fishing boats still come and go. Fishers' Loft is in Port Rexton, one of 12 picturesque fishing outports dotted along the rugged coastline between New Bonaventure and English Harbour on Trinity Bay ”” the Trinity Bight. An hour's drive from Terra Nova National Park and Golf Course, Bonavista and only minutes from the bustle of historic Trinity, the famous Pageant and theatre festival , restaurants, gift shops and boat tours. From the Loft, you look across the vast and ever-changing reaches of Trinity Bay. Closer to home and rising from the approaches to Ship Cove is Fox Island, once a fortification. Icebergs and whales visit. Eagles and ospreys are our neighbours.

The rooms and suites are casually elegant, bright and spacious, several with cathedral ceilings. Ocean views through traditional windows. The Inn Fishers' Loft Inn is a collection of structures which reflect the traditional architecture of Trinity Bay between 1850 and 1900. While traditional in look and feel, these buildings have been designed to ensure the visitor's comfort, a combination of the old and new. This collection of buildings is scattered closely over a hillside where forest meets meadow, overlooking Trinity Bay. Winding paths connect the houses of the inn and vehicles can be parked next to each house. Once parked, most of our guests walk between buildings, just a minute or two (be prepared for a little hillside walking). Garden Loft Rooms 2 ground floor rooms (queen-size beds). 2 second floor rooms (queen-size beds) with cathedral ceilings, entrance from the garden. All four rooms overlook Ship Cove and Trinity Bay.
