Edward`s House B&B Inn
402 West Mountain Ave
Fort Collins, Colorado

The Edwards House was built in 1904 by reknown local architect Montezuma Fuller for Alfred Augustus Edwards, an early Colorado pioneer from Mercer, Pennsylvania. Mr. Edwards was instrumental in building the first irrigation projects in Northern Colorado including the Mercer Canal and Chambers Lake among others. The house remained the family home of the Edwards until 1981 when it was sold and used for offices. An elegant house of neo-classical design, it embellishes on the popular “Denver four-square ” pattern. High ceilings and large leaded glass windows afford the interior a bright spaciousness that complements the antique furnishings. Now a Fort Collins Bed and Breakfast, this gorgeous home is located in a quiet residential area of town within walking distance to City Park, the historic Old Town shopping and restaurant district, and the Colorado State University campus. The authentic trolley car line running in front of the house connects Old Town and City Park and is a unique way to see one of Fort Collins' beautiful turn of the century neighborhoods. As a B&B, the Edwards House is pleased to offer elegant and romantic accommodations far superior to those of typical hotel lodging. Come visit us soon and see this beautiful CO inn for yourself.
