Built in 1842, this fine Greek Revival Style building has been carefully renovated and handsomely furnished.
Four spacious and comfortable guest rooms, The Winnecook, The Acadiana, The Green Lady, and The Garden View have queen sized beds and private baths. Each room has been decorated to reflect its unique character. Common areas include a parlor, which houses an extensive library as well as a T.V. and VCR, a large dining room, and a garden.
A full breakfast is served each morning. Dinners are available by advance reservation.
From the Heron's central location on Main Street, it's a short walk to shops, the Unity Center for the Performing Arts, Unity College, and Lake Winnecook (Unity Pond).
