In July of 1992, the College Street Inn became Franklin's first Bed & Breakfast . The Inn is a restored 115 year old Queen Anne style home in the heart of this small southern town. Innkeepers Mike and Donna Houston have created a delightful alternative to the conventional accommodation found in the area. Guests from across the US and 37 countries from around the world have enjoyed their southern hospitality.
An hour before breakfast, hot beverages and fresh breads are delivered to the guest room, on request. On the weekends, the Inn provides a Southern gourmet breakfast for its guests. Breakfast begins with fresh fruit and features a wide array of dishes ranging from Breakfast Casserole to Pecan Waffles. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The Inn honors requests concerning dietary restrictions. During the week, deluxe continental breakfast is served.
