CLIFF COTTAGE BED AND BREAKFAST INN in romantic Eureka Springs, Arkansas, caters Tennyson's Suite livingroom. This very private suite in Cliff Cottage overlooks a lovely butterfly garden. to guests wishing a lot of space and privacy in elegant surroundings. Besides the delivered private breakfast, you'll also enjoy complimentary Champagne or white wine chilled and waiting in your fridge and an in-suite beverage bar with imported teas, coffee, hot chocolate and chai. Suites all have two-person jacuzzis and all accommodations have VCRs with a video library of over 100 free movies, CD players, private porches or balconies, and fireplaces in most. Oscar Wilde's Cottage has an outdoor hottub and fully-equipped kitchen; Zelda's Studio a walk-in two-person shower, hottub and fully-equipped kitchen. Breakfast to Oscar Wilde's Cottage and Zelda's Studio is an optional extra which guests order in advance when they make their reservations if they wish the elf to deliver the inn's famous breakfast. CLIFF COTTAGE, an Eastlake Queen Anne Victorian, was built in 1880 and is a State and National Historic landmark and Sears' very first kit home. The Cliff Cottage suites have their own private front porches overlooking all of downtown and also private decks tucked into the three-story high rock bluff behind, a perfect place for a private breakfast al fresco!
THE PLACE NEXT DOOR is a gorgeous Victorian replica filled with antiques and original art, designed and built by Iinnkeeper Sandra in 1993 when she came to Arkansas after spending 7 years sailing alone in the Pacific. There are two suites upstairs, both with private balconies. and a Great Room downstairs where intimate weddings are held.
THE ARTIST'S COTTAGE, a newly renovated 1910 arts & craftsman cottage and the newest addition to the inn's monopoly board, features two very elegant suites, one with a private deck, the other with a private front porch, both overlooking the storybook village just a few steps below. THE ARTIST'S STUDIO - ZELDA'S STUDIO sits all by itself behind The Artist's Cottage, tucked into the woods yet, again, just 17 steps down to Main St. shops & eateries. This is the studio where the original owner of the cottage worked on his stained and etched glass creations in the early 1900s and many Eureka artists through the past century have enjoyed creating their art in the studio. The studio has been tastefully renovated, retaining all the original rustic beams and age-old native stone walls to create a very artistic ambiance. The studio's private hottub is set in the woods looking into a beautiful glen.
OSCAR WILDE'S COTTAGE, a 1920s art-deco cottage, is for those wishing a totally secluded experience. It's just a short walk from the main inn and is perched on a hillside overlooking all of downtown, surrounded by woods -- the view of Eureka Springs from its outdoor hottub is fantastic! And here come those cute little Cliff Cottage elves, delivering the inn's famous breakfast -- Innkeeper Sandra learned to cook on an 18th-century woodburning stove in Southern France and her recently-published cookbook includes all the recipes served at the inn. She has been the featured guest chef on the CBS-TV Arkansas Western Gas cooking show.
