Ron and Carol have been living in their home for the past 25 years. They have 3 children, 2 boys who live away and 1 daughter who lives in Charlottetown and works with Ron. Boyles Optical is the family business of 84 years and is located in downtown in the Polyclinic building.
Ron is an avid golfer. He has, in the past tried out his luck at the PGA Senior Tour with some successes but decided to return to Amateur status so he can compete at home. He can give lots of info on courses, tee times and the best courses to play on the Island and in the Maritimes. Chipping practice is always underway in the back yard.
Four grandsons are a happy addition to the extended family. Dylan, 4, and Cameron, 2, live in Charlottetown and Steven, 3, and Jack Ronald, 1, live in Delaware, USA. So we have a few toys and mini golf clubs on the lawn and porch in anticipation of the next Mike Weir.
Carol, an avid sewer, has the house full of her handiwork. The Vintage Needle is her business name. She specializes in quilting, wedding dresses, needlescape pictures as well as lots of needlework and crafts. Just ask for a tour of the sewing room. She will give lots of info on all the good craft, antique and art galleries to visit on PEI. They really enjoy meeting and getting to know their guests and hope to make their stay on Prince Edward Island a memorable one.
