The Chase House Bed and Breakfast Inn of Cornish, NH is one of New Hampshire's National Historic Landmarks and is the Birthplace of Salmon P. Chase. Situated on the banks of the picturesque Connecticut River with spectacular views of Vermont's Mount Ascutney, this lovely New Hampshire Inn uniquely combines a 1766 Settlement Colony-style house with a fine, circa 1795 Federal-style house. The Chase House Inn offers 9 charming guest rooms. Every morning upon waking, guests are greeted with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee or tea. A hearty country breakfast follows featuring seasonal fruits and homemade specialties. This bountiful spread is either served in the Chase House dining room, on the terrace, weather permitting, or in our 1810 post and beam gathering room.

The carefully chosen furnishings including the canopied and four-poster beds, the hardwood bureaus, and delicate trim, combine to offer comfortable accommodations to satisfy those with selective tastes. Along with serving as one of the premiere bed and breakfasts in New Hampshire, The Chase House also accepts bookings for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners, family reunions and business functions. The houses 1,200-square-foot Gathering Room and the three acres of meticulously kept lawns and gardens create the warm ambiance perfect for a couples most special day.
