The Elegance of Yesteryear Bed & Breakfast Originally built by Ransome Powell in 1869, the house was purchased by Dr. J. Walter Seawell in 1892 and served as his home, offices and the town's first hospital. Luther Burbank was a family friend and many of the over 50 varieties of camellias gracing the grounds are attributed to him.
