Later Mr. Besemer became the stationmaster for Besemer Station on the Elmira, Cortland and Southern Railroad. Hike or cross country ski on the old railway bed and imagine how the old water tower used by the trains could be given a new life. Enjoy Ithaca's Fall Color. There are two guest rooms each with air conditioning and standard amenities such as hair dryers, shampoo, etc. The larger room is now known as Aunt Leah's Room. It has a queen bed, full bathroom and a bay window overlooking the gardens. Dream history in Grandma Jewel's bedroom as you sleep in our antique rosewood extra long double bed that belonged to the Besemer family. It has a private shower bath.
