The Shades of Blue and Lighthouse Too, suite is roomy with a queen bed, a cozy gas fireplace, private bath with a large shower, cable TV/VCR, high speed internet access ($5 per day). There is a kitchenette area, teak table and chairs, coffee maker and tea kettle (coffee and assorted teas are provided, no cooking). The views offered are both water and mountain views.
The Country Green and Bay Scene, suite is spacious with a queen bed, private bath with a tub and shower combination. This Suite has a fireplace, sitting area, a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (coffee and assorted teas are provided), cable TV/VCR, high speed internet access ($5. per day). The views offered are both water and mountain views.
Dungeness Panorama as the name implies, offers a visual feast, from the strait of Juan De Fuca and Dungeness Bay to the north, and the Olympic mountains to the south.
It is an easy 20 minute drive (14 miles) from Port Angeles, for a reward of quiet beauty and the serenade of birds.
The guest house is independent. Upstairs on the first floor are two separate suites. Each suite has a deck offering a view of the water punctuated by an occasional fly-by of an eagle, and to the rear of the guest house a deck to enjoy the spacious view of the Olympic Mountains. A short walk down to the bay is another possibility to observe one of our colorful sunsets!
We enjoy welcoming our guests into the main house, it is our pleasure. The style of the home and guest house is country French provincial, and inside the furnishings are custom made originals.
We are French and so is our cuisine and it is copiously served along with our accent. One sample breakfast might be, crepes stuffed with shrimp, or smoked salmon or roasted turkey, fresh vegetables with light seasonings or sauces, a little breakfast cake framed with fresh fruit and fruit glazes, and should you wish to continue, a French croissant with seedless raspberry jam. We offer fruit juices, French roast coffee or delicious decaf, a variety of teas and hot chocolate are there for your selection and enjoyment. We can help you practice your French or if you just wish to converse in English we can do that in spite of the accent. We also offer an American breakfast menu, for those of you that prefer American cooking.
