Ralph and Nancy welcome you to Applewood Manor Bed & Breakfast.
Situated in the picturesque and unspoilt village of Castleton in Central Vermont, Applewood Manor B&B provides comfortable lodging, warm hospitality and rich history. The charm and character of Applewood Manor date back to 1789 when Noah Hoyt first built his family dwelling. The Castleton River, one of Vermont's finest trout fishing rivers, runs through the property.
Original brick and marble fireplaces grace the public rooms, offering a cheerful warmth in winter, and the delightful screened porch provides a pleasant place for summer relaxation. Each of the five guest rooms has a private bathroom and well appointed furnishings. During your stay, a delicious breakfast will be served in the charming dining-room.
Applewood Manor B&B is within walking distance of Castleton college and is convenient to many other Vermont colleges. The local area presents spectacular scenery and a wealth of outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling. Within 45 minutes, Manchester and Lake George provide fabulous shopping, and for history buffs, the region offers Revolutionary War sites and other unique places of interest.
