Steeped in the tradition of European hospitality, the Alpenhof Lodge stands as a lodging benchmark in Teton Village and Jackson Hole. Its long standing reputation for service excellence and guest satisfaction began with its original owners, Dietrich and Anneliese Oberreit of Switzerland and Germany, respectively. Born into a family with hotels on pretty Lake Constance in the Bavarian Alps, they created the Alpenhof to reflect the charm and subtle elegance of the fine country inns of their homeland. The first hotel built at the Village, the owners picked the prime location, closest to the tram and lifts. The Alpenhof Lodge remains nestled in the heart of Teton Village even as the village has grown up around it. This intimate inn exudes genuine Tyrolean charm, a cozy, welcoming mountain inn with a roaring fire, deep chairs, fabulous food, delicious wines and hot drinks, great friends, lots of laughter and music
