Aloha Farm Bed & Breakfast
83-5440 Painted Church Road
Captain Cook, Hawaii

Aloha, it's an experience! Come to Aloha Farms Bed and Breakfast on the Big Island of Hawaii and experience the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands. We invite you to share with us our clean, comfortable home on an award winning 100% Kona coffee, tropical fruit and macadamia nut farm. The B&B is located off the beaten path, between Kealakekua Bay and Puuhonua O Honaunau National Park (City of Refuge) so you can swim amongst dolphins, snorkel Hawaii's splendid coral reefs, scuba dive from shore, hike royal Hawaiian trails, bike country roads, fish or relax on a secluded beach, kayak pristine coastline, view native birds, explore lava tubes, or just relax and feel the ocean breeze on our huge covered lanai and never drive near the main road! Of course, we are on the BIG Island, also called the Orchid Island, which is home to Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea, Waipio Valley, the green sand beach and Kailua-Kona which is only 20 minutes away, so you'll need a car, maybe a truck to see everything our wonderful island home as to offer. Whatever you are planning, we're glad to assist you in any way we can, so ask! We want your vacation or visit to be more than you imagine. Ideally located at 800 ft of elevation, Aloha Farms (formerly A Place of Refuge B&B) experiences temperature ranges around 65 F at night to about 80 F during the day with plenty of sunshine (something you may not get at higher elevations), plus you'll have a view of the sunset complete with coconut palms, 365 days a year. The B&B is conveniently located for island wide activities, being a little over 2 miles from the main (belt) road, you are just minutes from many fine restaurants and stores for supplies, only 20 minutes from Kailua for shops and other activities, or less than a couple hours drive to places like the lava flow at Volcanoes National Park, the waterfalls and taro fields in Waipio Valley, or the spectacular views of our universe on top of Mauna Kea. Lastly, your host, Roger, is an ocean enthusiast, kayaker, certified PADI diver, fisherman, conservationist, birder, backpacker/hiker, photographer and scientist who is always visiting the best spots to give you up to date information about the Big Island of Hawaii. So come and see our Hawai'i, live Aloha and find refuge.
